The Link Event – Aug 20th – Price Reduced

2009_Splish_Splash_Web_1Our friends over at The Link had to reduce the price of the charity boat cruise this Thursday. The original price was $75, but is now $50.

Richard Moody has worked with The Link for many years and has had many friends contribute through the charity Christmas party.  The toys help the homeless and troubled teens know people in the community care.

The $50 price includes a boat cruise on the Paradise Lady with a seated dinner.  A great Jazz combo will provide music.  It’s the perfect way to enjoy an evening on the boat while helping a great cause.

We all know that times are tought, but small non-profit organizations like The Link are more at risk in dropping the service they provide to the community.

Please consider the opportunity to help this wonderful organization.

It’s back for it 19th year.  Last year it happened on the first big snowstorm of the year.  The turn out was amazing.  Thank goodness because the need to get toys for Tots & Teens is growing with this troubled economy.

The View team always has amazing buffet of food and great drink specials.  Great reward for all the giving that happens.

We look forward to another year of helping the children of Domestic Abuse Project, Sabathani Community Center, and The Link.  We appreciate the support from all our friends old and new.  Hope to see you there.

max_logoIamMoody is doing our part to help spread the news that one of our favorite stores Max’s just won a prestigious 2009 Top Retailer Award from NICHE magazine. Out of 33 winners, Max’s is the only store in Minnesota to receive the award from the art gallery and craft retailer’s specialty magazine.

Max’s is located The Shops at Excelsior & Grand and offers fine jewelry, home décor and specialty chocolate boutique.

This is another local business making it’s mark in a tough economy.  We so proud of Ellen and team.  We can’t wait to see what you do next.

dap102009Domestic Abuse Project is one of the main charities IamMoody works to support.  The annual Christmas party benefits the kids there who look for hope that their families needs are met.  We also collect women’s clothes, hats, scarves, gloves, and other basic items.

October 20th DAP is doing their annual Fundraising Luncheon.  We know many people have cut back this year and the ability for some is dramatically reduced.  The Luncheon is an easy way to give a little and get a little.  More information below.
Join us for a powerful, one-hour event that focuses on the mission and impact of the Domestic Abuse Project.

There is no cost to attend.  Guests will be invited to make a contribution or a payment on a previous pledge.  Bring a friend, or two!

Please consider supporting DAP by being a Table Captain.  This simple, yet incredibly important, role involves inviting colleagues and friends to join you at your table.
