We are holding a virtual online model call for our upcoming show Sept 18th – Second Runway Fashion Show

We are looking for both male and female professional or seriously minded new models. Please read the details below carefully.

second_runway_logoIamMoody is proud to be part of the 2010 Goodwill/Easter Seals Second Runway Fashion Show. The is an eco-friendly fashion show featuring Twin Cities-area designers’ re-creations of items purchased at local Goodwill stores.

Second Runway designers range from professionals to novice. That’s what makes us different.

DFS_TwinCitiesIf you follow IamMoody you know Richard has an amazing relationship with non-profit Dress For Success.  This is a big reason why they are one of our favorite charities.

The other is their amazing mission to help disadvantaged women women transition to economic independence. They are a worldwide organization that just recently opened their doors to their first physical location helping make a difference in the Twin Cities.

On March 12, 2009 they are doing a fundraiser called “Sweet Success” at the W Hotel.  IamMoody is producing an amazing fashion show. We encourage everyone to come support.  Joi Gordon CEO of Dress For Success will be the Keynote.

We could not be more excited about the boutiques part of this event. They are Bumbershute, Il Vostro, Arafina, and Belle Reve showcasing the best in Spring clothes.  Ladyslipper and Max¹s will be supplying accessories.

Metro Fight Night is one of the most interesting parties of the year.  Take 6 photographers and the choice of best styling teams and some models and watch them duke it out the ring line for the best fashion photos.

Throw in a fashion show with clothes from Macy’s in between the bouts and you have a night full of fun.

The event starts at 5:00pm and will feature an exhibition of world renowned local artist. Donald Walker, who will unveil his new series, “Negasso”, a reimagining of the works of Picasso through an African American perspective.  In addition there will be a live auction of some of his work as well as signed limited edition commemorative prints of “All Eyes on Hallie” for sale. They will also have the incomparable music of Wenso Ashby, contemporary jazz with soul.

Two of my dear friends at Delta Ricky Thornton and  Rick Linde have been diagnosed with Cancer.   I and some of my Delta co-workers are putting together a party called a Celebration of Wellness at Dancing Ganesha Sunday, December 13, 2009 from 2:00pm – 5:00pm in the afternoon.
