Sabathani Community Center – Blankets Needed
November 1, 2009 by IamMoody.com Team
Richard Moody has been a supporter of Sabathini Community Center for years. They just contacted the IamMoody team about a special need for the Senior Center
Please review the request below for Blanket Making to see if you can help.
——————————————-
We could use either monetary or in-kind. Fleece is about $8.99 per yard. If people want to buy it by the yards or they may have some on hand. Baby design are good for the baby blankets that will be donated to food shelf clients. Those are about 1- 1 ½ yards. Lap robes about the same, for seniors and blankets at least 2 ½ yards. In kind is always good because then we don’t have to shop.
If we get dollars and buy the materials ourselves we could use about $300.00 . The class is only one day with the Target volunteers. They will teach us but I doubt we would finish all the blankets. We will keep the “Giving circle “ together for the ongoing baby blankets because I’m guessing there will be quite a need around the holidays. My idea is to start with the blankets an see if there are other projects the seniors can do to benefit others in our family resource program.
We also need Fabric Scissors for this project $10 -12 each. We could use about 5-7.
All donations to Sabathani Senior Center will be acknowledged with a letter or donation form. We area 501(C)3.
The date of the class is 11/18/09 . Sabathani needs to have the in-kind or monitary donations by 11/12 so we can purchase for the initial class. Anything after that we can use for the ongoing baby blankets.
Make checks to Sabathani Senior Center. They all go in the Sabathani bank account but if our name is on it there is no confusion about their designation. More information at www.sabathani.org

We recently got our hands on the footage of Richard Moody on Fox 9 News at the Obama Healthcare Rally that took place on September 12th, 2009. You don’t have to look hard to see him.
Richard knows that Obama speaks the truth. We think there is a good chance Obama heard Moody that day.
Check out the shootout to RT Rybak. We expect big things from him.
