CENTERPLAY Fundraiser At Icehouse Featuring Stokley 2020

Vie has been a good friend and creative force for many years.  What she is doing is very important.  I hope you consider attending this fundraiser and/or giving to make her efforts to produce CENTERPLAY at the Guthrie happen.  Read below for details on the event and how you can donate now.

We are raising $25,000 in our efforts to cover production costs for Vie Boheme’s one woman show CENTERPLAY which will have it’s The Guthrie Theater‘ debut in the 9th floor Dowling Studio March 20th – 28th, 2020.

We anticipate CENTERPLAY serving 1,100 patrons over 6 performances. Although The Guthrie covers marketing, box office, community engagement, accessibility and crew members to support running CENTERPLAY, we still have significant pre-production overhead costs.

General Admissions tickets for the fundraiser begin at $50 and full table and dinner options are also available.

I am so excited to extend the invitation for you to attend this special fundraiser event for my show CENTERPLAY which will make its Guthrie Theater premiere this spring, March 20th-28th. If we haven’t yet met I’m eager to talk with you face to face about the show, my body of work and it’s impact on this community. Your contribution is a gift and so is your presence.

I wanna wish everyone a happy new year as we move into 2020, into a new decade. As we all move into new things I want to take a moment to introduce y’all to a new artist you may or may not have heard of, Ms. Vie Boheme. She’s a versatile artist. Vie joined me on the road lending her many talents over the last several years. Including choreography, lighting design, & was co-Artistic Director for my Sonic Healer tour & Ordway Theatre Show.

I was introduced to her by the musicians in my band and now I would like to introduce her to you. Join me at Icehouse on Wednesday, January 29th from 6-8:30pm  for a very special fundraiser event to support her one woman dance theater show CENTERPLAY which happens at The Guthrie March 20th-28th on the 9th floor in the Dowling Studio.

This young woman has a lot of skills and on the 29th we will hear her sing with her full band and see an excerpt from CENTERPLAY. You don’t want to miss this! I’ll be in the house to share a little bit more about my experience working with her and my hopes for the success of CENTERPLAY.
