The day begins at 11:30 am with registration followed by lunch, silent auction bidding, and a few minutes at the driving range or putting green. Box lunches will be available for late arrivals. Golf will be a best ball format tournament with a prompt 1:00 pm shotgun start. The fun-filled day for golfers will include the opportunity to:
Play 18 Holes of Golf on the classic course designed by Park and Ross
Out-Drive the Celebrities on the first hole hosted by Cities97 very own Brian “BT” Turner
Win a car from Rudy Luther Toyota by making a hole in one on the Minneapolis Golf Club’s spectacular signature 10th hole
Compete for various prizes throughout the day
Golfers and Non-Golfers
At 5:30 non-golfers can join the fun with cocktails and more silent
auction bidding. Dress for the evening is business-casual or
country club-casual, golfers will have locker-room access to freshen
up as they wish.
If you can’t join us for golf, not a problem… You may choose buy a ticket for the evening program only!
Cities 97 morning host Brian “B.T.” Turner and John Sweeney, co-owner of the Brave New John SweeneyWorkshop are emcees for BT Turner Cities 97an evening of inspiration, learning and laughter.
Cocktails will be followed by a wonderful dinner in the ballroom and an evening program that promises to be a special treat. Our emcees will award golf prizes and host the evening’s program where guests will be treated to an updated inside look at the Gilda’s Club Twin Cities story.
And the highlight of the evening,in the spirit of Gilda Radner herself, is a comedy performance by the Twin Cities’ own Brave New Workshop comedy theatre.
