Do you have a child between five and seventeen years old?
THEN TAKE THEM TO VOTE WITH YOU ON NOVEMBER 6TH!
On Election Day, Kids Voting Minneapolis provides students an authentic voting experience either during the school day (in specific schools), or with their parents between the hours of 2:00 and 8:00. Students cast a Kids Voting ballot that includes many of the same candidates and issues on the adult ballot. We can only provide this with the help of many volunteers working 2:00-5:00, 5:00-8:00, or 2:00-8:00 on Election Day (November 6, 2012). We have a volunteer in every precinct to explain the voting process and ensure that each precinct’s votes are tabulated correctly. We love volunteers who neighborhoods kids might recognize: parents, grandparents, teachers, coaches, directors, etc.
For more information or to volunteer in your neighborhood, contact Will Howell at will@kidsvotingminneapolis.org or 612-568-VOTE.
