Good Afternoon AFA friends,
As most of you know, Kathy Dunham, retired Northwest Airlines flight attendant and former President, AFA Local Executive Council 95 – MSP passed away at approximately 3:00 AM CDT, Monday, October 25, 2010. Kirsten Neumann, Kathy’s daughter and Kirsten’s husband were at her side. Kirsten reported that her mother was comfortable at the end and passed away at home after a long, difficult battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease.)
Kathy retired from Northwest Airlines on March 31, 2009 and also resigned her elected position as President, Local Executive Council 95 – MSP, Association of Flight Attendants – CWA. Kathy previously served as an elected MSP Base Representative for the Professional Flight Attendant Association (PFAA) from 2003-2006. She stood firmly on her principles and represented her flight attendants with great passion.
