On Monday, July 19th Spin Night Club will be hosting a benefit to raise money for the family of Ross Kuha, the former Spin doorman who tragically passed away on June 29th.
For the many, many patrons who passed through the doors of Spin and Cream over the past six years, Kuha was the first person to greet them and the last to bid them good night. Kuha worked in the service industry for over 15 years and touched countless people with his welcoming smile and next-door-neighbor friendliness.
Doors will open at 8pm and the event will run until midnight. There will be a silent auction and a $10 suggested donation at the door to raise funds for the family to offset the significant expenses associated with Kuha’s passing.
Spin will be offering complimentary beverages from 8 – 9 pm. A portion of the proceeds from beverage sales from 9pm – midnight will also be donated to the Kuha family.
Spin encourages all current and former customers, friends, and industry colleagues to attend. The event is also open to members of the general public interested in supporting the benefit.
If you would like to donate items for the silent auction or would like to make a donation directly to the benefit account, please contact Spin at info@spinmn.com or call (612) 333-5055.
Spin is located at 10 South Fifth Street, Minneapolis, in the Lumber Exchange Building.
