There is no cover charge to attend and there is a $10 all you can eat buffet with food provided by Uptown Drink and Fusion. 20% of all food and beverage sales will go directly to these four wonderful women.

A silent auction will be available from 2:00pm – 6:30pm. Winners will be announced at 7:00pm. Only cash and checks will be accepted; receipts available upon request. All item winner’s will be posted on IamMoody.com. 100% of silent auction proceeds will be divided equally between the four women.

Pink Fund Raiser & Garage/Antique Sale

October 10, 2009 by IamMoody

With each passing day, we realize we have so much to be grateful for and often look for ways to help others.  We have among us fellow employees who could use a helping hand or a moment of our time to show we care. We have two upcoming events where your presence will truly make a difference in the lives of our Delta co-workers.

view8MSP Flight Attendants Terresa (Tee) Simmons & Heidi Andersen Fundraiser – November 4, 2009 at “The View” Restaurant – 7:00-9:00pm

You are cordially invited to attend a fund-raising event at “The View” to support Tee Simmons and Heidi Andersen. If you wish to donate items for the event for a raffle or silent auction, please contact Richard Moody at iammoody.com. You can also send messages of love and support to Tee and Heidi to their home address (posted at MSP In-Flight) or to Tee via CaringBridge.org.

Garage/Antique Sale (Care Fund Kick off) November 4-5, 2009 –7:00 AM- 7:30 PM

Attention all Garage Sale and Antique enthusiasts: Fall is the perfect time to clean out your attics and closets while contributing to a great cause. Bring in your garage sale items, heirloom or rare pieces. We are collaborating with the Delta People Care Funds on November 4-5, 2009 at MSP In-Flight. The Delta People Care Funds consists of a Care Fund and a Scholarship Fund. The Care Fund provides financial assistance to employees, retirees, and survivors experiencing unforeseen financial hardships. The Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to employees and dependents. It is entirely funded and managed by Delta employees for Delta employees – active or retired. Drop off any items you would like to donate to Janet Jorgenson at MSP In-Flight.

Also, plan to stop by the Care Fund Kick off for refreshments and to learn more about how you can invest in Delta people with a small payroll deduction. Details about the Delta People Care Funds can be found at Deltanet under Employee Information.

Lastly, we will be recycling used cell phones. You may drop them off in our cell phone recycling box available at MSP In-Flight. All proceeds will go to the Delta People Care Funds.

Thank you for everything you do to support each other and thanks in advance for making both events a success.

Sincerely,

MSP In-Flight Team
