The land of film making, movie stars, rock stars, actors/actresses and really – if you ask me – a miniature Las Vegas that is void of the casinos, Hollywood, has been whispering its name softly in my ears all year long. The last time that I ventured out West to this part of California was well over a year ago. Far too long ago if you ask me, especially when I have always loved the fashion nuances that you find in this town that is literally bursting at the seams with a hodgepodge of different cultures, trends and just about anything that you could ever think or dream of.
This time around, Hollywood beckons me for both business and pleasure. I am heading out there to meet up with some very large promoters and a few of the video game magazines I write for, to sign some contracts and get all ready for what is shaping up to be HUGE Xbox 360 pro gaming tour next year, where I will be the host. The show will also features models and musicians and bands, and it will be presenting them with awards and some pretty fat contracts to the models, bands and gamers that please the judges (I and some other well known people who I will refrain from mentioning).
Aside from business, I plan on mixing the blender with an equal amount of recreational endeavors as well. The Wax Museum is calling my name—where you can literally see a human-like form of most famous people in the US. I also plan on hitting up Universal Studios and spending a day there while in Hollywood. Last but not least on my to-do list is to stop by David Rouze’s recording studio—Bay Seven Studios—and check on in with some pretty famous cats that are cutting tracks over there. Hopefully I can get some good pictures taken to share with you all when I get back. I am confident that I will have some sort of fashion-California diatribe to share upon returning as well.
Until then, “Beverly Hills…that’s where I want to be! Living in Beverly Hills! Beverly Hills, rolling like a celebrity!”
Okay, well sub out Beverly Hills for Hollywood, and you get the general idea here.
